It wasn't home, but it reminded her of South America and her time there with her family. Alone here as she was, she felt like staying somewhere that made her feel more comfortable. So she'd come down to the beach to enjoy the breeze since the heat was all but unbearable. All she could think was that it was a good thing she wasn't sporting her fur at the moment, the idea making her want to just get naked in rebellion, just because.
She stayed clothed, for now, though she did wander along the sand, grabbing a drink from a vendor and enjoying it as she strolled. Being kidnapped wasn't exactly the high point in her life, but as far as prisons went, this one could be worse.]

[The heat had finally gotten to the point where nudity was an option, if only because she didn't have a suit to wear to go swimming and that's what she desperately wanted to do right now. She picked a tree that had a lovely red wreath of flowers around it, rolling up her clothes and stuffing them up in one of the crotches before stretching. The breeze, what little there was, played over her skin and she all but beamed as she started to march towards the water, fully intent on soaking to rid herself of the warmth that almost felt like it wasn't just coming from outside of her body.
She didn't walk like she was on display or showing herself off, more like she was comfortable in her nudity and wasn't concerned or bothered by it at all -- which was exactly the case. Riley was a shifter and when changing shape meant ripping the things you wore, you learned to limit your clothing wreckage by just taking them off beforehand. She'd never had a problem stripping down to shift or shifting and being nude before finding her clothes. It was just the way shifters were. Most of them, anyway. There was always that one person at large gatherings who was a creep, but for the most part, it was as far from sexual as one could get.
So there was no shame or showing off as Riley made her way down to start walking into the water, diving in when she was far enough in. Ah, that was the good stuff.]
