Chloe had technique and know how. Alkaid had a frantic desire to be anywhere else in all of eternity from that one spot. No amount of strength was going to tip the balance in her favor. She threw as much into it as she could, trying to shake the creeper off. Only to find herself getting fixed deeper in, and more against her.
"Stop using that name, and get the hell off me already!" She was deaf to her meaning as she tried harder to shake her off, starting to reach back and swing her arms to push her off. At least until she realized a couple of things. One, it was getting cold. She could see her breath misting in there. See THEIR breath misting in there. That alone was rather...chilling.
But the next ones came without pun. Because in her current state of attire, she could feel that cold all over. Exposed skin quickly beginning to show goosebumps, and a shudder that she couldn't rightly fight or stop. "How is this...ah?" There it was. What was cold was one thing. What was warm was another. She felt those things naturally enough, sure. But that was in real life. Not in game.
"You b-better start...t-talking..." She practically growled, trying to keep from sinking into that warmth. Teeth chattering and face as red as her hair. She'd gone from squirming to shuddering, to freezing. And at this point she just wanted some clarity or something.
