Natasha Romanoff | MCU - canon point in post CA:TWS

WANDERING AROUND THE DOME:
[Well, this was new. She'd seen a lot of interesting things between SHIELD and Stark, but a dome with the technology to rip people from their worlds all in the name of science? There were some crazy things out in the world, but this was madness.

Keen eyes scan the projected sky as she roams through the City Center. She makes mental note of any cameras she spots, scrolling through the network on her device to see who else might be here from home. Weaknesses are her next target, mapping things out with escape routes in mind should things take a turn for the worst.

She keeps her expression as neutral as possible, she makes a point to dip in and out of any store or coffee shop she can find. She could worry about how she woke up and what the hell was in her neck later. Joys of her training was prioritizing and compartmentalizing and putting emotions off to the side.

After weaving her way through the town enough to have her bearings, she doubles back into the most open coffee shop she'd spotted - grabbing a cup and offering a smile to anyone she sees. It's easy enough to shift gears and grab as much info as she can in the least painful way possible. It helps that she's pretty and knows how to use it.

Finding an occupied table, she politely waves and bites her lower lip.]

Is this seat taken?

AI ATTACK:
[Natasha had either missed or intentionally ignored the warnings about the southern part of the city, curiosity getting the best of her. It was a strange thing, the lack of police presence around here. It should have been her first warning, but she'd never done well at being told not to do something.

It had been going rather smoothly, at least until she'd unintentionally kicked the hornet's nest and earned a nice follower. He wasn't human, that much she'd figured out when she'd thrown a knife and it had barely made a scratch. This felt like New York all over again and she wasn't a fan. She knew when she was outmatched, running and looking for the best spot to win back the upper-hand.

Rounding another corner, she hugs it tightly and grips the wall to anchor herself as she pushes against it for leverage to give herself a little air, her momentum carry her into a take down maneuver she tended to opt for when dealing with a stronger opponent. If she can incapacitate him long enough to safely get away, it could be the difference between life and death.

Pulling another knife out from under her leather jacket, she searches for a weak point hoping that he might at least have a main vein or something she could hit to slow him down. She wasn't gonna waste time trying to figure out just how close to humans they were - not when she only had one chance to get this right. Jamming the knife into his neck after using his momentum to take him to the ground, she doesn't stick around to see if it actually did anything.

Don't mind her as she sprints through streets, trying to at least give everyone she sees a heads up that there's a pissed off thing possibly heading this way.]

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE:
[Feel free to find her on the beach or maybe checking out one of the sections of the island. You might even catch her trying to hack one of the cameras.]
